The Esteem Dance Program is a select competition and performance team open to students with prior dance experience from Years 7-12.
Classes run every Friday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm during the school term.
Students train in Hip Hop, Jazz and Lyrical, refining their performance skills, stage presence and teamwork.
The team represents Kinross College at local and state-level competitions, as well as community events throughout the year.

Commitment
Consistent attendance and participation in Esteem classes, performances and competitions is mandatory.
Application process
Students must pass a practical audition for this program.
Dance Audition
Auditions for the Esteem Dance Program will take place on Friday 4 December 2026 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.
The audition will involve learning three teacher-taught combinations in different genres, followed by an opportunity for students to show any additional skills, such as leaps, turns or tumbles.
Students should wear suitable dancewear and bring a water bottle on the day.
