Over the past two years Kinross College has been gradually implementing the use of ‘Connect’ for teachers, students and parents and caregivers to keep in contact with student progress, assignments, marks and general communications.
All students have access to Connect using their Education Department student login details which they also use to access a computer at school. As a school we are finding that Connect is proving to be a very useful resource for students, parents and teachers.
To login: You may remember receiving an automated email from the Connect system (possibly from the [do not reply] address: ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’ and with the subject line: ‘Connect Account Created’. Follow the instructions in that email to login. If you no longer know your login details, or did not receive that initial email, please make contact with the College to request a new login.

SO WHAT IS CONNECT?
- Connect is an Education Department online portal. As a parent you can login to stay;
- informed with your child’s learning anywhere, anytime;
- securely access your child’s assessments, feedback and
- engage in your child’s learning.
When you login you will be able to view;
- notices across all of your child’s classes
- your child’s attendance
- assessment data
- tasks and
- progress marks.
Keep in touch: As a parent you can contact the teacher via Connect and vice versa. The teacher can use Connect to send information and reminders to whole groups, or just selected parents. Email notifications will go to the email address that you have registered with the College.
There is also a FREE Connect app which is great if you prefer to receive notifications to your phone or mobile device.
