Communicating to families at Kinross College
We have over half of our parents now on board with the new school communication app, which is really great!
News, events, notices and general messages are now being sent using the School Star app. Only parents and community members can access content in this secure app for iPhone and Android.
Please note that you can use the new School Star app to access links to call the school, email the finance assistant, update your details, email the Soccer, Basketball, Music or KEA programs and send us feedback. (These links can be found under the ‘More’ tab).
Download the app from your devices app store.
Follow this link for detailed instructions on how to download the app.
CONNECT logins and passwords
Kinross College uses the Department of Education ‘Connect’ portal for teachers, students and parents and caregivers to keep in contact with student progress, assignments, marks and general communications.
New families will be sent an automated email, during the first week of Term, which will include login and password details. Follow the instructions in that email to login.
If you no longer know your login details, or did not receive that initial email, please make contact with the College to request a new login.
Use this email to request your login details: firstname.lastname@example.org
SO WHAT IS CONNECT?
- Connect is an Education Department online portal. As a parent you can login to stay;
- informed with your child’s learning anywhere, anytime;
