RISE

RISE

Kinross College follows the “Positive Behaviour Schools” ideology and practices into the College that will underpin everything associated with student behaviour, performance and rewards within the College.

In 2019 Kinross College has also initiated the “Positive Behaviour Schools” ideology and practices into the College that will underpin everything associated with student behaviour, performance and rewards within the College.

This process has taken 12 months of research and work by staff at the College and a framework has been unveiled this year under the banner of the acronym, RISE.

The qualities that form part of RISE may eventually replace the original “College Vision” above.

RISE promotes and asks both staff and student to RespectInspireSupport and Excel.

We aim to support students in becoming positive citizens through teaching and rewarding positive behaviours and actions.

Some of the ways that students are rewarded include:

  • Sausage sizzle lunches.
  • Grand Prize Draw where prizes have included bikes, scooters, game consoles, head phones and $250 shopping gift cards.
  • Reward excursions.
  • Weekly rewards for the highest TAG scores for punctuality, presentation, and preparation.
