Calling all future drone pilots!
Our STEM Club invites you to take flight with Tello drones every Tuesday (break 2).
What’s in store for you?
✅ Code and Command: Learn the ropes of programming as you write commands that send these nimble drones soaring through the skies.
✅ Mission Impossible: Each week we’ll set thrilling challenges, from navigating obstacle courses to snapping pictures.
✅ Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow drone enthusiast, fine-tune your piloting skills, and conquer the skies together!
How to apply:
Please see Miss Chesney in the Technologies office for an application. Only 10 students per term will be accepted, and the program will run for 8 weeks.

Kinross College Melbourne Art Tour Adventure!
Our Year 11 Art students recently embarked on an unforgettable journey to Melbourne, exploring the city's vibrant art scene and culture.
Highlights included:
✅ Discovering ancient and modern masterpieces at the National Gallery of Victoria
✅ Admiring street art and iconic landmarks in Southbank and Federation Square
✅ Taking in breathtaking views from the Eureka Skydeck
✅ Immersing in interactive exhibits at Monopoly Dreams, ACMI, The Lume's Da Vinci exhibition, the Gertrude Gallery of Contemporary Art and the Australian Galleries
✅ Bowling showdown with strikes, spares and high-fives – our art tour took a detour to the lanes for some friendly tenpin bowling competition, won by non-other than Alfie!
✅ Saturday night football at the MCG - in which Tristan was extremely happy when Geelong won!
✅ Friday night dinner on Lygon street.

During Term 2, eight fortunate students had the opportunity to participate in the AICode program after school. Students engaged with coding software to program Tello drones. In the final weeks, students were challenged to code a drone to navigate a course using the most efficient code possible.
The program offered an introduction to drones and coding through hands-on learning experiences. Students developed coding proficiency, explored diverse drone applications, and honed their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
What a fantastic experience for our students!
