Lest we Forget…
Today, during Mentor, the Police Rangers solemnly placed a wreath at the half-mast flags in memory of those who valiantly fought in all conflicts for our country. Meanwhile, other students embarked on virtual tours of the Kings Park War Memorial and the Australian War Memorial. Some crafted ANZAC Day acrostic poems or adorned mindful images with colours. Thank you to Sarah and Grace who delivered a speech over the PA system, emphasizing the significance of ANZAC Day.

Today we commemorate Anzac Day - a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand, remembering all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. We honour them for their bravery, their contribution and the suffering of all those who have served.
Anzac Day is the anniversary of the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli, Turkey on 25 April in 1915. Lest we forget.
